New to St. Mark’s

Worship Times

St. Mark’s Presbyterian Church has two worship services on Sunday mornings. Our contemporary service meets at 9:00AM in the fellowship hall and our traditional service meets at 11AM in the sanctuary. Communion is celebrated the first Sunday of the month in both services.

We are located at 7922 State Road 52 in Hudson, FL.

Coming EAST from US19, travel approximately 1 miles and the church will be on the right.

Coming WEST from Little Road, travel approximately 1.2 miles and the church will be on the left.

You will find parking both in the front and the rear of our facilities, including plenty of designated handicap spaces.

What to Expect

There is no dress code. Whatever you wear will be perfect. Jesus cares about you, not your clothes.

Children of all ages are welcome and encouraged to participate in our worship services. Children’s bulletins and crayons are available. For your convenience, there is also a family room adjacent to the sanctuary.

Office Hours

Our office hours are Monday through Thursday, 9AM to 4PM.

As a community of faith, we believe God calls us by the power of the Holy Spirit to live and share the good news of the gospel of Jesus Christ…

  • We believe the Bible is the Word of God and relevant for our lives today.
  • We believe Jesus is God’s Son and the hope for our broken and hurting world.
  • We believe the Holy Spirit equips us for ministry in our homes, places of work, and schools.

Our Church Covenant

Having received Jesus as my Lord and Savior, and led by the Holy Spirit to unite with St. Mark’s Presbyterian Church, I commit myself to God and to the other members to do the following:

  • By acting in love toward other members
  • By refusing to gossip
  • By supporting the church’s leaders

“…let us aim for harmony in the church and try to build each other up.” – Romans 14:19

“…live in complete harmony with each other, as is fitting for followers of Christ Jesus.” – Romans 15:5

“…you must show sincere love to each other as brothers and sisters. Love each other deeply with all your heart.” – 1 Peter 1:22

“Don’t use foul or abusive language. Let everything you say be good and helpful, so that your words will be an encouragement to those who hear them.” – Ephesians 4:29

“Obey your spiritual leaders, and do what they say. Their work is to watch over your souls, and they are accountable to God. Give them reason to do this with joy and not with sorrow…” – Hebrews 13:17

  • By praying for its growth
  • By inviting the unchurched to attend
  • By warmly welcoming those who visit

“We always thank God for all of you and pray for you constantly.” – 1 Thessalonians 1:2

“Go out into the country… and urge anyone you find to come, so that My House will be full.” – Luke 14:23

“So warmly welcome each other into the church, just as Christ has warmly welcomed you; then God will be glorified.” – Romans 15:7

  • By discovering my gifts and talents
  • By being equipped to serve alongside my pastor
  • By developing a servant’s heart

“God has given each of you a gift from His great variety of spiritual gifts. Use them well to serve one another.” – 1 Peter 4:10

“Their responsibility is to equip God’s people to do His work and build up the church, the body of Christ.” – Ephesians 4:12

“Don’t be selfish; don’t try to impress others. Be humble, thinking of others as better than yourselves. Don’t look out only for your own interests, but take an interest in others, too. You must have the same attitude that Christ Jesus had.” – Philippians 2:3-5

  • By attending faithfully
  • By living a godly life
  • By giving regularly

“And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another…” – Hebrews 10:25

“Above all, you must live as citizens of heaven, conducting yourselves in a manner worthy of the Good News about Christ…” – Philippians 1:27

“On every Lord’s Day each of you should put aside something from what you have earned during the week, and use it for this offering. The amount depends on how much the Lord has helped you earn.” – 1 Corinthians 16:2

“A tenth of all you produce, is the Lord’s, and it is holy.” – Leviticus 27:30

New Member gatherings are offered quarterly. We meet over lunch on Sunday afternoons to discuss what it means to be a disciple of Jesus and a member of God’s family, which is the church. Other topics include what it means to be Presbyterian and what you can expect as a member of St. Mark’s Church. If you decide to join, you will be asked to share your personal faith journey, visit with the elders of the church, and be introduced to the congregation. New Christians will be baptized at this time.

The new member classes for 2016 are: February 7th, May 1st, August 7th & November 6th.

These gatherings meet 12:30-3:30PM in Classroom 4 which is located near the Music Room off the parking lot in the rear of the church facility. Lunch will be provided.
